• Handling supplier PO’s and coordinating with them on the purchase and shipping of the new materials
• Shipping, clearance and delivery of the stock till warehouse followed by the GRN’s. Follow on credit notes if any items received in damaged condition
• Warehouse management (Warehouse Staff, Inventory control, GRN, Invoice & Delivery Note)
• Getting the necessary approvals from different department of Dubai customs (TRA, DPS, Civil Defense, CID, Municipality etc) if required depending on the type of goods imported or exported.

I started my career in Dubai as Cargo clearing clerk in Al Abanoos Tourism & Cargo on Oct 2003 and then as a Showroom Manager in Paris Group but due to company’s visa quota could not get the visa.

2004 I moved to DCE (Dubai Civil Engineering sister concern of Al Hamad Group of companies) as Stores and logistics coordinator under our Projects Director Mr Venu Menon and was a part of the organization until 2012.I was responsible for monitoring the stock at various project sites and accordingly coordinating with the suppliers on the materials, daily site requirements, site logistics as and when required. I have complete knowledge of the construction materials

2013 I joined another firm in Dubai Silicon Oasis namely SecuTronic FZE as an Administrator (Office Administration, PRO, Warehouse & Logistics In charge). I was responsible for HR recruitment process, all the PRO related activities for Dubai (free zone) and Abu Dhabi offices, also did all the government related paper works for the new office opened at Abu Dhabi including trade license and the customs related documentations (Getting Approvals from different departments in Abu Dhabi and Dubai like Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, Civil Defense, Department of Protective Systems, Police, CID and Chamber of commerce) for all our incoming and outgoing shipments followed by goods receipt note when received at warehouse.

Then in Aug 2013 I joined a Swedish company in Al Quoz called Kollektion General Trading LLC as a Logistics and Warehouse Manager where I was handling the Purchase Orders and shipping of the goods from international suppliers. I was responsible for all the customs documentation for all our imports and exports including the necessary approvals from Dubai Municipality and also managing the warehouse with proper inventory counts.

Currently I am with Consort Middle East LLC (manufacturer and supplier of architectural hardware) as a Warehouse Manager – managing the warehouse and 10 staffs under me including the drivers. The stock reconciliation (inventory control) every month w/o freezing the warehouse activities or incoming & outgoing shipments with GRN, Invoice & DO. I was also handling the walk in customers.
